The Bauchi Agency for Persons with Disabilities (BAPWD) is a dedicated state agency established under a law passed by the Bauchi State House of Assembly and assented to in 2010. The agency began operations on May 3, 2010. It is tasked with promoting and safeguarding the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities across the state.
